Water is just Drawn to me.

Today I went to the talent show at the school. It. was. Amazing.

The acts were just incredible, including Kasey and Jami. It was fantastic. I didn't expect THAT much talent was in our school.

Kasey and Jami got my sister and I reserved seats :] We were in the second row. We would have been in the first but there was only one seat in the row and I wanted my sister next to me.

Then we had a 10 minute intermission and then another half hour. We were told it was gonna be a teacher singing, but WE DIDN'T KNOW HOW AMAZING IT WAS GOING TO BE!

The CP English teacher Mrs. Shauve is in a band -a real band with rockers with tattoos and all.- She had a 45 minute set and it was so fantastic. They sang a couple of popular songs, and then a realllly long medley of MORE popular rock songs! They ended with Don't Stop Believing. I recorded it on my phone. I can't fathom how great the show was.

Then my sister had to pick up Heather after her basketball practice. My sister, Alaina, and I waited in the back parking lot for about a half an hour.

Once we picked up Heather we met up with Jess, Lindsay, and Aubrey at the Naugatuck Friendly's. We made the waitresses believe it was my sisters birthday (which is actually in February). They sang their special song and gave her a balloon. My sister gave it to me and it currently floats next to me.

Lindsay jumped over the table and, basically, attacked my sister for her balloon. She ended up knocking over her glass of water, and it spilled all over me! The second time today I got water on me.

Then after a good hour, we left. Aubrey followed us to Friendly's because she apparently doesn't know how to get anywhere. She attempted to go the way we came, while we went a shorter way. After we slightly changed course, she pulled over and called us. She followed us to our side of Prospect -which she lives on the other side- and pulled into Smokerise while we continued down Clark hill. We would have made her play hide-and-go-seek except my sister was running out of gas.

In the car, Alaina was sitting next to me holding my sister's balloon. She hit me in the face with it. I saw something coming from the side of me so I jerked back and banged my head on the window. *Facepalm*

So yes, this is a good day. A very good day.

Changes and the What-Could-Have-Been

I lived in Bristol for a period of about six months during kindergarten. During this time I became good friends with two kids, Chantel and Joshua. Joshua was one of my first friends I made in Bristol. He was kind of pudgy and the 1-5th grades called him "Butterball" in a good way. He -as my memory served- was usually happy and funny. [As funny as a 6 year old could be.]

Chantel was the second-cutest girl in kindergarten, second to only a girl named Gabrielle. Nevertheless, I developed a massive 6 year old crush on her. This was back when crushes weren't really something that was a top priority, so I was able to be friends with her without it getting awkward.

Why am I telling you this? Well, earlier today I found their facebook pages. [Joshua has yet to accept my friend request.] Chantel didn't remember who I was so she asked. I told her about how we were in kindergarten together but I moved away in the summer so she probably wouldn't remember me very well. I told her to look in our yearbook, as I am right next to her in our kindergarten pictures. She remembered and accepted my friend request.

Chantel has changed a decent amount since kindergarten. Her hair is much shorter [obviously?], she's into photography, and she's bisexual. Joshua, from what I was able to see, I assume he moved to New Haven somewhere between now and 1st grade.

Now, what would have happened if I stayed in Bristol? There is a possibility that we may not have stayed friends through the summer, but let's assume we stayed friends. When Joshua would be moving away I would be hurt, and he would too, which would make the move worse. The changes that Chantel made would have in some way affected me, and from what I know, we are a lot different now. We might have grown apart, rather than me "quitting while I'm ahead" when I moved.

My life could have taken a lot of different paths, but luckily I've made good decisions, or my mom made them for me. I also left some good things behind, and I will probably look back on those things a lot, but there's nothing I can do to change it. People change, sometimes for good or for worse, but nobody can tell that. You just have to trust your instincts, and choose decisions you think will help you in the long run. There's nothing wrong with reconnecting to your past, and dwelling upon the what-could-have-beens, but you must remember the what-ares and start working towards the future.

I know this post isn't very comedic, sorry about that, but hey, is it inspirational? Tell me in the comments.

Halloween and Whatnot.

Happy Halloween! I hope it's stuPANDAs!

I guess throughout the night, I'll edit and update what's going on and stuff. Like I have anything better to do.

So, some of my family is over. And here I am, on my laptop. Story of my life. All my cousins are trick or treating, minus myself and my 10yearold cousin -not Joey.- He feels like since he's a kid, he shouldn't trick or treat... Yea...

I handed out a little bit of candy so far. Guess to whom?...

Angela! Yea! I saw her and we talked a bit and I forced her to take more candy. Animal crackers = Not fun. Sugar filled cavity inducers = Way more fun.

Apparently, my mom frowns upon not trick or treating. I really don't get it. If we don't want to trick or treat, let us be. We aren't the only ones in the world who don't want to go to strangers house asking for candy. No offence to anyone who trick or treats. I think people who trick or treating are cool. Hence why I don't trick or treat.

Yea, so I'm alone in my living room, watching the fairly oddparents, and on facebook. I'm so in the Halloween Spirit.

By the way, I keep more up-to-date coverage on Halloween on my twitter. You should pay attention to it.

I guess the only halloweeny things I've done today are...
1] Take dailybooth photos.
2] Write this blog.

I'm a social!*

I still feel a little iffy. I have a little bit of a headache, some cough, and a dash of runny nose. It's not helping that my mom has a CD of obnoxious sound effects on. She went way overboard with the halloween decor. There's fake spiders abundant and plastic fingers in places where they shouldn't be. This includes in the sides of the couch, bowls of chips, etc.

I was so pumped for Halloween this past 2 or so weeks, but this is kind of a let-down. The most entertaining part of my night was stealing candy from the bowl we're supposed to be giving out, and making some tweets with fun hashtags. But other than that, I kinda wish it wasn't Halloween.

I'm sorry this is such a downer. I wish this was a feel-good post, so I'll keep it optimistic and light.

Jojo's enjoying Halloween. He's also enjoying all the loud people in my house and my little cousins who 'play' with him... Not. He's been on his toes all day and he looks both ways before entering a hallway. It's mildly entertaining, actually.

Wanna play game? Let's play "Guess what he's talking about!" game! Danielle already knows the answer.

Statement: "I just need to get in and hit up my s**t."
Answer: Facebook!

Oh, Facebook, how entertaining thou art.

My cousin Zachary is dressed up as a ninja. He promised me all his snickers bars :] He said, in an unrelated incident, if I touch his water, he will 'kill me for life.' I'll let you think about that one.

--Break from Halloween stuff. Time to talk about Happy Aquarium.

Happy. Aquarium. Is. The. Best. Facebook. App. Ever. I have... 14 fish. Their names are...

Jojo
Mimi
Karce
Shoshana
Brandy
Whiskers
Cara
Finster
Twister
Gullah
Brick
Emika
Darcey
Blockhead

-- Back to Halloween. I'm waiting for It's the Great Pumpkin to go on TV. Oh, the memories...
It won't be on anytime soon.

My cousin, her boyfriend, and I are gonna watch I Am Legend later. I hope none of the littluns come in and try to watch it with us. They're gonna scream, and I don't wanna hear it. They were already screaming before for no apparent reason.

Jojo's getting some much-needed sleep right now. I want some sleep too, now, and it's only 7:27. *Yawn*

ANGELA, YOU MISSED THE STATE TROOPERS! They just made their way down Maple Drive. They often give out King Sized candy bars. Trust me.

My mom put a fake heart in a box of Munchkins. Zachary saw this, and got very confused.

Logan -He's about a year old- Is dressed as a vampire. Ah, it's so cute! His cape is longer than his body. I would take a picture, but as you can imagine, I can't explain why without it sounding trippy.

But! You can go to http://dailybooth.com/Gomezzio for some Halloweeny pictures.

My uncle just discovered he had a Facebook. Apparently my aunt made him one without his knowledge.

My other uncle and I made a deal to join each other's respective Facebook applications.
Yea, my family is weird.

NaNoWriMo starts tomorrow! I'm so excited. Danielle is doing it too. For more information, go to nanowrimo.org.

My OTHER other uncle just changed the channel to baseball. =/ So un-Halloween.

Jojo just tried to bite the second uncle I mentioned because he disturbed him. It's funny when it happens to other people.

Ok, I think I'll leave you now, unless something else interesting happens and I edit.

EDIT: Joey gave me candy :D Zachary didn't get any Snickers, though... Conspiracy.

Edit: Zachary gave me candy anyways. And Joey gave me a lot more. Angela's on the front page of wrhsonline.net !

edit: Tonight was better than I thought. The part where I was alone and such wasn't fun but then more people came, and such. My cousin and I never got around watching I Am Legend, we were too busy.

So, how's your Halloween? Tell me in the comments.

So, I was reading Angela's blog [click on her name in the comments, I'm fairly certain I'll MAKE her comment] and clicked on her profile. Under the tab 'Blogs I Follow' I saw 10Mow, and Danielle's blog. And then I noticed, mine wasn't there.
