I can't think of anything quirky for this title.

It's the last [technical] day of summer. I should be sad. But I'm not.

I don't know why, but everything just seems so much better today.

I'm home alone. [For the first time this summer.]
Jojo's friendly.
The weather's all dark and gloomy [which I love.]
The Price is Right is on. [I still don't understand how you win that spin the wheel game.]
I found like 5 different full shows of Wicked!

Maybe it's because I know much worse days are coming soon, so today just feels like the last hoo-rah. I just feel so awesome today. Don't put me in a bad mood :)

Kevin in CHINA

OK, so. I got chinese food tonight, and of course, a fortune cookie.

It was... the BEST... fortune... EVER.

It read:

"Confidence of success is almost success."

:] Just thought that was AWESOME.

And then they taught me how to say 'Kevin' in Chinese, almost.

"LEARN CHINESE - GINGER- jiang"

Thanks Reader. Singular.

Hi! Well, I just wanted to tell everyone that the first day of school is in a few days. If you remember, I said a couple months ago...

I don't know how much I will be updating the blog, but for Steve, I'll try as often as possible. Without school and all my friends, this blog will get boring, but stick with me.

And, since school is resuming soon, things will get a lot more interesting.

For one, my new blog, http://10monthsofwork.blogspot.com, is starting up. Things are a bit hectic now, but bare with us, things are starting to smooth out.

I'll hopefully have a lot more to talk about now that I'll get to see everyone again.

And thanks for sticking with me through this summer with this blog. Well, I shouldn't say that, because, I have no readers. Literally. If anyone DOES read this, it's Danielle. Everyone else? Nope. I don't really talk to Steve all that much anymore, and he was my main reader. Way to toss your audience out the window, Eric.

Hopefully things will get a lot better!

Pieces of pizza this summer- 65 [approx.]
Weight - Nope. Never putting it again. My scale has been broken for a while [do NOT make a joke] so 192 may not be my correct weight. And anyways, I'm trying to spare my own embarrassment.

My Book Survery, via Hayleyghoover

1. What author do you own the most books by? John Green. I know, only 3. 2. What book do you own the most copies of? Don't really think I have mumltiple copies of things, but I made a shrine of everything related to Rent and Wicked... 3. Did it bother you that both those questions ended with prepositions? I'm used to it.
4. What fictional character are you secretly in love with? Alaska. Yea, so she died. Judge me. 5. What book have you read the most times in your life (excluding picture books read to children; i.e., Goodnight Moon does not count)? Probably Percy Jackson and the Olympians. 6. What was your favorite book when you were ten years old? Percy Jackson and the Olympians.
7. What is the worst book you've read in the past year? Can't really decide, I try to stay away from those types of books. Because 'worst books' is a new genre... 8. What is the best book you've read in the past year? Paper Towns =D
9. If you could force everyone you tagged to read one book, what would it be? The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. 10. What book would you most like to see made into a movie? The Hunger Games. 11. What book would you least like to see made into a movie? ...Twilight. 12. Describe your weirdest dream involving a writer, book, or literary character. I dreamt I was part of that contest in The Hunger Games and I made out with the main character...
13. What is the most lowbrow book you've read as an adult? Not an adult yet, but, Twilight. 14. What is the most difficult book you've ever read? The Oddesy.
15. What is the most obscure Shakespeare play you've seen? Never seen any. 16. Do you prefer the French or the Russians? FRENCH.
17. Roth or Updike? Neither 18. David Sedaris or Dave Eggers? N/A 19. Shakespeare, Milton, or Chaucer? Shakespeare 20. Austen or Eliot? Neither. Sorry. 21. What is the biggest or most embarrassing gap in your reading? ... Can't answer that :/ 22. What is your favorite novel? Paper Towns, followed up by Anthony Rapp's memoir. 23. Play? Does Wicked count? 24. Poem? Not a fan of poems.
25. Essay? NO thank you. 26. Work of nonfiction? Anthony Rapp's memoir. 27. Who is your favorite writer? John. 28. Who is the most overrated writer alive today? ...Take a wild guess. 29. Thanks for the survey Hayley. You are truley made of awesome.

By the way, it goes from present to past.

I hate past-me.

Have you ever read something you wrote so long ago, and realize how obnoxious you were? Well, I just did. I posted this on VMKmagic one or two years ago. Just read it.

So my mom was opening up a bank account for my sister, so she looked in my account, and saw i had $75.26!!! SHE GAVE IT ALL TO ME!!!! Finally i have money, so im spending it ALL today on Amazon. WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

Ok, my critiques:
1. How many times can I say 'so'?
2. I used way too many exclamation points.
3. It's sort of funny that I would react the same way now if that were to happen [excitedness, amazon] except I would greatly reduce the spam levels and keep it at a soft shout.

Ok, shall we read another?

Percy Jackson and the Olympians

Anyone read that series? Its about a kid who learns that he is a demigod and goes on quests with his other demigod friends. Anyone read that series?

Does anyone notice my levels of redundancy?

Have you heard of Kathy Griffin?

Have ya? Have ya???? Kathy Griffin

she is the funniest person in the
World

i have a HUGE...
HUGE celebrity crush on her <3

I won't even explain that one. That was exactly how I wrote it. Color and everything.

Finally, some Incentive. Not dieing of a Heart Attack just isn't enough.

I just went to Barnes and Nobles. And I spent 20 dollars on books about cats. Totally worth it.

Anyways, I've made a big deal about how I REALLY want The Beatles: Rock Band. And my mom's made a big deal about me losing some weight. So we came up with a compromise.

If I lose 20 pounds, she'll buy me Rock Band, or 150 dollars worth of stuff from Amazon.
Needless to say, I agreed. So encourage me some, help me some, postitive enforcement some.
But please, don't be rude or sarcastic. It won't help.

Oh and by the way, how contradictary is the pizza counter now?

But Mommy said...

I'm sorry that this is such a terribly short post, but I just found this picture, and it's so hilarious.

Someone please get me a cake with a cat on/in it for my birthday.

Oh, by the way, I'm starting to write a novel. Take THAT creative writing [which they didn't put me in!] If you ever want to read it, just ask.

I'm sorry for the very awkward title.

Charlie Brown References... and a Laptop? What kind of post is this?

Reasons why I want/need a laptop:

1. Privacy.

The home computer is in the living room where everyone walks by, and my sister makes it a point to look at what I'm doing.

2. Portability.

I need my computer. On vacations, I'm forced to watch my brother and sister on their laptops and I'm sitting doing nothing in the hotel room.

3. No time limit.

My mom makes me get off at 11/11:15. With my laptop, I can go on until I go to bed, about 4 AM.

4. Webcam.

With a camera that actually works, I can finally make the YouTube videos I'v ebeen pressured to do. And Ustream. 10MoW Streaming, anyone?

5. Bragging Rights.

Yea, I know, it sounds selfish, but finally I can just say 'I brought my laptop.' On vacations or just bring it to get-togethers and be like 'I'm on aim at my friends house. You're playing guitar hero. Which is pwnful?' Well, actually, guitar hero sounds more pwnful, but in theroy, the laptop wins.

I'm surprised I can only get 5 reasons, but I mean, they're well thought out, right?
I'll give you 5 good reasons! One, two, three, four, five. *Punch*

My sister was watching it! I sware!

School starts in three weeks! *Shudders*

I both can and cannot wait. Mostly can.

I can because...
I have to get up at 6
I have to go somewhere everyday and not sleep or stay on the computer
I can't stay up until 4 AM, watching the only decent shows still playing on disney channel
I have [home]work to do
I still have about half of my summer work left
There's still pizza to be eaten
It's a new school, high school...

I can't because...
http://10monthsofwork.blogspot.com
10 Months of Work [the blog] starts!
It's a new school. High school!

Speaking of 10 Months of Work, it has changed dramatically. At first it was just going to be me and my blogness, but it's turned into a full-blown collaboration project of epic proportions. If this doesn't get more than 10 readers, I don't know what will.

Pieces of pizza I've eaten this summer: 59
Days left of summer: 20 AHHH
Days until my pre-order of Total Drama Island: The complete Series ships: 10

[Omg, on Hannah Montana they're singing a song in tune of I Will Survive... Sorry...]
Oh, and do you like my new header??? Thanks Laura!

Blog for Rent -- Meme #2

Yes, this is the second post today. The first one didn't quite satisfy my blog thirst. I was only able to speak it, not type it.

Well I decided to do another meme, the 10 Song iPod Game. Basically you shuffle your ipod ten times, and record your results.

1. Voice Mail #1 - Rent [Original Broadway Cast]
2. Finale - Wicked [Original Broadway Cast]
3. Spiderwebs - No Doubt
4. [I actually got Finale again, but I won't count it.] Seasons of Love - Rent [OBC]
5. Your Eyes - Rent [OBC]
6. What is this feeling? - Wicked [OBC]
7. Take Me or Leave Me - Rent [OBC]
8. Another Day - RENT [OBC]
9. Tango Maureen - Rent [Movie Soundtrack]
10. Happy New Year B - Rent [OBC]

Yes, I have the entire Rent soundtrack on my iPod. Judge me.

Btw, I went to CVS, and bought FLOAM!
I bought Orange and Purple/Black, not exactly sure.

2 Months of Rest Just Isn't Enough

I just wanted to warn you that I'm using Danielle as a scribe because I am unable to access my computer at the moment. So if there is any bad grammar or you don't get my jokes please yell at her. It's all her fault that you don't get my jokes. Always.

Ok so as some of you may know freshmen year is approaching and as close to my heart as my dear old Gomezziblog is I've decided to start a new one. It will be called 10 Months of Work, a journey of a boisterous freshmen making his way through his first year of high school. I will blog about things that have happened during the day, rant about teachers, etc.

For once I'm going to follow in Steve's footsteps and create an entirely new blog. Although I will most likely be updating that blog frequently, that doesn't mean that I will abandon this one. I will still update this blog, just not about things with school, so please do not unbookmark (if any of you actually have this bookmarked).

So look out for this new blog in theaters, I mean blogspot.

Thank you, Danielle, for scribing this. "You're welcome," she says to me over the phone.

10 Months of Work-- coming soon!
